Release 22nd July 2026
Fix version: 2026W30
Release notes
This release comes with the introduction of the new Event object. An Event object works the same way as a Task object, but it has a date which can be set manually in a calendar style. This means that at this point, we have normal tickets which are governed by the Created date, and Event tickets which are mainly governed by the Event date.
The user can choose between these two dates when sorting. For normal tickets, the Event date will be the same as the Creation date.
Otherwise, this release will not show too much to normal users, unless an Event channel is in use. One visible change is related to -266, which means all ”New ticket” -type of functionality is now behind a combo button, and the button is sensitive to the available channels of the user.
Any sorting/filtering criteria above the ticket listing is now persistent, so any user choices made on this earlier will persist from one session to another.
We have removed all developer roles from any PROD users, unless explicitly told otherwise. We used the developer role slightly too liberally in the past, and in order to launch certain features behind the scenes, the developer role is from now on only intended for users which really need this preview functionality.
